It is right next to Hakata City which is the main train station in Fukuoka. Very convenient for transport, meals and shopping. The rooms are very spacious by Japanese standard with two huge twin beds. The kettle keeps the hot water hot after boiling. Great and efficient hairdryer. Instead of instant coffee, they provide better quality drip coffee in the room. It has a great Japanese restaurant on site which is always busy with local businessmen at dinner which to me is a good sign! Breakfast is also served there and it is beyond luxurious and expectation - you can choose from a range of set menus: Japanese style, Hakata style (featuring local delicacy mentaiko) breakfast or Western style or even one with Japanese beef curry rice (see photo).

Hi we love our stay at Richmond this time. It’s our first time visiting FUKUOKA with my wife. We had a wonderful stay. The location is great. We found the 石井 sports building everything nearby and conveniently. We appreciate everything the hotel provided. Specially thanks to the front officer who offer the option to upgrade our room so we could change to non smoking room due to my booking was smoking room by my mistake. We will definitely recommend this hotel to the others.

The staff were very friendly and helpful in our stay even though we don't speak Japanese.The breakfast had a great variety including a western breakfast and other Japanese options.5 minute walk to Hakara station to catch trains and buses to everywhere you wanted to go I would recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Fukuoka.There is a laundry facility and vending machines as well.

Location is perfect, very close to the JR Station Shinkansen Side, you can utilize Yodobashi entrance in one side and exit on the other as a shortcut and also for weather avoidance. Room space is not extremely big, but good for two along with two open suitcases. Cuisines are all within walking distance. Highly recommended.

Literally 3 to 5 mins walk to the Hakata train station. Hotel staff speaks english. There is a Supermarket and 24 hour Convenience store near the hotel. Room is always clean. Will recommend Richmond Hotel to my friends. And will surely stay here again. Thank you 😊
